UTSA vs. Army football game
ABOUT THE PROGRAM -
Note: Full itinerary will be emailed when game time is set by the conference. Additional game day tickets purchased in the Ryzer registration portal will at Will Call at the Alamodome on game day.
Calling all high school woodwind, brass, percussion, dance team, twirler/majorette, and color guard students: You are all invited to participate in SOSA Crew to experience a UTSA football game and perform alongside The Spirit of San Antonio Marching Band!
SOSA Crew Package Fee includes: morning rehearsal (at the Alamodome), backstage access, game ticket for SOSA Crew student, lunch with The Spirit of San Antonio, commemorative T-Shirt and photo, music, Pre-Game festivities, VIP halftime Military Show performance, and the thrill of a UTSA football game in the comfort of the Alamodome at 72°F! Participants will also get to meet and work with SOSA Student Staff and Professional Staff. The SOSA Crew shirt is the uniform for the day and will get you access into the Alamodome.
Individuals interested in SOSA Crew must currently be involved in a high school marching band program or dance program. Parents, guardians, family members, and friends are encouraged to attend the game, but will need to purchase game tickets in the SOSA Crew registration link (Ryzer) or at goutsa.com. Only the SOSA Crew student will be granted field level access and seating with SOSA (section 127).
SOSA Crew students are encouraged to bring their instruments/equipment if they wish to play with their respective sections in the stands and on the field during the game. Music will be emailed in advanced.
***NOTE: If SOSA crew lands on a school day, we highly recommend students speak with their school counselors, as this event could potentially be considered a college visit day. Additionally, it’s a professional courtesy to inform your band directors before registering. We look forward to welcoming you to The Spirit of San Antonio Marching Band for an unforgettable day of music and learning!

Sample game day schedule (# of hours before Kick-off):
T-Minus 6.5hs - Check in (Location TBD)
T-Minus 5hrs - Dress rehearsal with SOSA @ Alamodome
T-Minus 3hrs - Spirit Teamwalk (SE Staircase outside Alamodome; open to public, but must stand clear of band, football team, and security)
T-Minus 2.5hrs - Pep Bands to tailgate lots (SOSA Crew will be assigned a pep band with current SOSA members)
T-Minus 2hrs - Meal break
T-Minus 30min - SOSA Crew meet pro staff in tunnel to be escorted to field level front sideline to watch SOSA Pre-game
T-Minus 15min - SOSA Pre-game
T-Minus 0:00 - Kick-off!
+2hrs after kick-off - Halftime: Military Appreciation Show!
+4hrs after kick-off - Approximate end of game/dismissal. Dismissal location TBD.
SOSA Crew Registration:
Registration Deadline: November 15, 2025 @ Noon
SOSA Crew Refund Policy:
Refund of registration minus $10 non-refundable fee up until registration deadline.
Refunds requested after registration deadline will be a $20 refund.
